Celebrating 36 years, Fountain Square Art Festival is the largest and oldest fine arts fair on Chicago's majestic North Shore. The festival takes place in downtown Evanston, close to the eponymous Fountain Square. With eclectic works by more than 150 juried artists, the festival epitomizes words like "cosmopolitan" and "sophistication." Besides world-class art, the festival offers an array of entertainment. Craig & Lori perform on the main stage from 3 - 5:30 p.m. In addition, the festival boasts great food, a children's art tent offering lessons and activities overseen by the Evanston Art Center, and a Saturday evening craft beer tasting tent for ages 21+.
