The performance is the result of a 2019 Arts in the Parks & Historic Sites grant. Craig (piano) will be joined by Tim Brookshire (drums), Sam Finley (guitar) and Steve Mascari (bass). They will provide percussion instruments and invite all to play along as they explore the jazzy side of blues, boogie woogie and other styles while focusing on music by Indiana musicians. Craig will talk about the history of the park. Other performances funded by the grant are at Clifty Falls, Pokagon, and Turkey Run State Parks. This activity is possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
